Today's Outfit.

Just about to go to town, to pick up a birthday card for my friend, and some green tea, since the sainsbury's next to where I live only has a limited range. However I am a bit short for time. But here is my choice of outfit for today, although the sun is shining I think it may still be a little windy/breezy. I'll only know until I step outside aha!

* Checked Shirt ~ Topshop
* Grey Short Dress ~ Topshop
They don't stock this on the site no more but you can get a similar dress here.
* Skinny Indigo Jeans ~ Leigh ~ Topshop
* Brown Leather Satchel Bag ~ Topshop
* Black Suede Creepers ~ Garage Shoes

It's quite a comfy outfit, especially for just socialising with friends, and even though we are going for a meal tonight, it's just a casual event, and nothing where we need to be too overly dressed. I'm quite looking forward to the meal, as where we are going is really cheap, its a mediterranean style restaurant, that has a set 3 course menu for only £6.20. Can't go wrong there!

Anyways I'm gunna have to dash as time is getting on and I need to get to where I have to be asap!!

So I'm just internet window shopping, and thought to put some items on big spreads of what I like from the online stores I've looked at.

Firstly I had a look at Topshop, as when I worked at Miss Selfridge, I was always shopping in both. Since I've moved jobs I very rarely get a look. Madonna - Open Your Heart

I love this Madonna song! The video is so great, and not to mention the song. Madonna circa the 80's - 90's were my fave times of her. She wore some smashing outfits, especially her 80's get up in "Desperately Seeking Susan" (awesome film if you haven't already seen it). I remember when I was younger my sister had the VHS of Madonna's "Immaculate Collection", and we used to watch it constantly, as it was just filled with the top best Madonna videos.

Enjoy! xXx

Crushed Skull Stud.

Time to start uploading some images of what I put together on a day to day basis (I can't promise that it will be a day to day basis, but I will offer what I can). Friday, I was working, and decided to try and reflect the trends we have in store at present. Because they are quite dark colours in the collections, I opted for black (big mistake as it was roasting).

So there is the image of what I wore. Crushed velvet leggings are my fave, because they are different from just plain leggings, and give an outfit an interesting feel. These were from Primark at the time, when crushed velvet was massive. I'm a huge fan of Topshop, so a few items are from there, the skull tshirt, the brown leather bag, and the studded boots.

However the boots were just plain from Topshop, I wanted them for ages because I loved how they folded over, and they were very different. When completing my degree this year, I had so many studs left over, I wanted to use them on something to make something look unique. I saw an image on Instagram of some studded boots, I can't remember who by, but I fell in love! So decided to recreate my own.

The little waistcoat is one I got from Miss Selfridge when I worked there. I love this because it's so comfortable, and goes with so much, it can dress down an outfit or dress one up when accessorised well. It was an overall comfortable outfit, just a shame about the heat.

Back on Track!

Time for me to get back on track with blogging, and stuff in general. Now I don't have uni I need to find time to occupy myself through the spare time I have and working. However I do hope that work offer me more hours, as I'm desperate for the extra dollar, and have too many hopes and dreams on board.

I had a great day with brother today. Helped him shop for some clothes which was quite fun, I enjoy doing that with other people, because some way I always get people without doing much effort to buy things, and sometimes things they wouldn't normally purchase. For instant, we went to Union, just down Grey Street, as it was like a mini clearance store, because they moved location. There was a purple Kappa jumper in there, which he ended up purchasing. It was a nice shade of purple too, not to poncy for a boy to wear, minus the pastel pink kappa logo.

Anyways, I've been having so much inspiration flowing through my head to get me back on the designing track. I know I've said that there will be pictures from my last trip to Barcelona being uploaded, and I do promise I will get them up there, I just have to find a way of compiling them onto a bigger space so I don't use up all the picture allowance (I'm sure that happened last time)

My brother recommended to me a documentary/movie to watch tonight, as we were discussing skateboarding and skateboarders over a nice coffee, and he mentioned one called "We Are Skateboarders." Once I've watched it I will let you guys know the verdict!
