So here is the low down on this case. Last year around Christmas time (2011), Vans released a limited edition Waffle Sole phone case for the iPhone, in style of their famous sole, on the majority of their trainers. This case proved to be an ultimate hit amongst those lucky enough to get one. So would the hype of the case, bring Vans to create more.
After I got my mother to research for me in London, and go to the Vans store, situated in Carnaby Street, and see if they had it stocked there, I was out of luck. NOWHERE was able to get this case, or stock it, not even on their official website. However the sales assistant had informed my mother that they would get a restock nearer to summer.
So it was just a game of waiting. . . as always.
How awesome is this case please?!?!
The other day, I decided to do some internet research, and see if I could find it anywhere, or if there was any mention from Vans if it was going to be re-released. Turns out a week before my research it had been! I missed out again . . .what an absolute gutter.
Sad thing is, this case was purchased by a load of people who are selling it on eBay for more than what its worth. Even though it is a limited edition number, still people should really consider that other people might want to purchase this at the same rate they bought it. Clearly these people have been waiting for some time for this to arrive back in stock.
Anyways the original retail price is normally $28 / £15, however you can find yourself fighting with bidders and probably paying double the amount if not approx £40 for this case which is nuts I know. I battled for ages with anonymous bidders, until eventually I won one, which set me back a whopping £33, but it's been dispatched and on its way.
What a way to make some extra cash ey! Sell a load of limited edition phone cases. I guarantee knowing my luck, this phone will be available soon in massive bulk and to purchase at any time and I've paid double for it.
Nevermind! I'm still quite excited for it, because for now, I know that not many people over here will have it! So it's something to be quite excited about.
But if you guys are looking to purchase there are a ton of sellers from America, on eBay who are selling these at present! Go get yourselves one pronto! before they go and you wish you had one!!!!

If you haven't watched this yet, I strongly recommend that you do! I've wanted to watch this for so long, and eventually got round to getting it.
Was created in 1999, starring Jason Segel, Linda Cardellini, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Ben Foster and a few more big named actors. It's basically about high school life and kids trying to fit in with crowds etc, and just the whole essence of growing up with things around them such as the usual; sex, drugs, rock n roll, music, fashion , cheerleaders etc.
It's set in the late 70's early 80's period, and pretty much sums up any teenagers life. It's sad it only lasted the one season, I think they should've carried it on for more season's as it totally would'e been worth it. I'm nearly through with them all :( and sad, because I want to see more.
However it has given me some style inspiration to try and create a collection, based on the theme of the show, as the style shown throughout is quite casual, and preppy like. But from what you see today these days, it is quite on trend, so it hasn't failed on that part.
If you haven't watched it, like I said before, GET IT and watch it or even stream it! Because it is worth it.
Gunna complete the rest now.
Ciao for now!

Graffiti in South Shields SkatePark - October 2009
I know that the dates of these images are quite old, BUT it doesn't mean that they can't give you any inspiration or motivation to be creative. I think that it is always a good thing to always have inspirational ideas even if the images are a bit dated.
South Shields SkatePark is always covered in graffiti and if not changed now and again, majority of the time the bulk of the artwork stays put. So I found some images I took back in 2009, and thought it would be quite cool to get these up.
I'm trying to back log a lot of stuff for you guys, because although it is old, it is still quite cool to look at regardless. In some way or another I hope that it can give you some creative flow, or inspiration.

First two images, one by BUG and the second one by EYES (I have a lot of eyes work from Sunderland, will get that up too)
No Promises!
Knowledge is Power!
Art work created by BUG, as the same as the first image.
This above is image shows the art work created by re:sist.
There isn't really a lot to talk about the graffiti of shields, because in some cases some is really awesome, but you do have the occasional ones that don't allow it to be up to scratch. However the colours are so vibrant in the images I've taken, and theres a variation of tag work, and stencil work, and actual illustrated work. It's all quite a concoction, however since these were taken I'm pretty sure the work has probably developed a lot since then, so if possible I will try and get some recent pictures to see the development.
Ciao for now!!

Leather Lingerie
So back in third year of uni, we were required to do a product based project, based on inspiration from the Bowes Museum. I decided on doing some lingerie as I had never done it before, and thought it would be quite the interesting challenge. (which is most certainly was haha) However I was proud of the outcome of what I created, and alongside it, I needed to create a photo-shoot that matched up well with the design. My design although being lingerie based, was more inspired on the clothing Rihanna had been sporting during that year, and more based on underwear as outwear sort of theme going on.
I used black napa glove leather for the main bulk of the design, and this vintage victorian-esque lace I purchased off a seller on Ebay which softened the tone of the leather. I embellished small bits of the lace, which you probably wont be able to see on the model. However I will try and wack some shots just of the lingerie itself with details etc.
The photo-shoot was done in my brother's home, to which we just wanted a plain white back ground so the model and the lingerie would stand out nicely against it.
These are the shoes, that my model, Jade was wearing. These are her own shoes, and from Office a while back now, it was when Office brought out their range of heels labelled "Really High" haha. They are insanely high!
So here we were experimenting, using the Victorian lace that I had leftover, and using it as a feature for the models eyes, so that the theme was still evident in the shoot of what it was all about. It worked quite well, as it was quite a subtle effect.
Here you can see the subtle effect of using the lace as a the eye shadow feature. It creates quite an interesting look.
Crimping of the hair! Crimping machines are awesome! Long live them!! This was helping us to create our big hair that we wanted Jade to have. (We are going to be back combing the poop out of her hair!!!)
FALSE EYELASHES MANIA!! we used two sets, one on the top of the eyes and one on the bottom. The top set were eyelure's doubled lashes, and the bottom layer are Jade's own lashes.
Jade's beautiful big eyes, create the look I think, we added a layer of mascara to the top to help define the lashes and give them a more bold and striking look.
Using some extra parts of the lace, we decided instead of going in with a standard lipstick for the effect we would use the lace as it would like quite interesting and cool. She looks ultimately gothed up!
BIG BIG HAIR!!!
I'm not gunna bore you guys with tons and tons of photos, but the best ones that I felt were suitable for this entry. Hope you guys enjoyed seeing the build up to the shoot, and the behind the scenes of the shoot. Next entry will be the final edits for you all to check out! :)
Peace!

Today's Outfit.
So today, I'm getting ready for a pretty big day, an ultimate casual look is gunna be in order. So I'm going for a simple pair of dark denim shorts that I've got from Topshop, along with a grey graphic print tee from Art Disco (find them on Ebay), with some 120 denier tights from Primark (the best, they last a lifetime!!) along with my simple plain white hi-top converse.
Bye Bye for now guys!!
Love A, xXx
I'm thinking of also wearing it with a checkered shirt too, just because its a little chilly out :( and my khaki barbour just wont do it ha.
So I can't find my longsleeve check so I'm gunna wear this check, its simple and nice. But I have just this second found it so I'm going with the longsleeve! ha!
Haha these pictures don't do me any justice! But there we have it the finished look! ha! plain boring and simple. I'm soz that is isn't that little bit creative, but it's good for the casual look.
Ha ok so now I'm ready for a three hour shift of flyering for Evolution festival! funtimes ahead.
Bye Bye for now guys!!
Love A, xXx
