Barcelona ( Oct 2011 ) - Street Style

In October, 2011, I had to create a city report based on a city of my choice, for my FMP at uni. Since my project was all based around street culture, style and art, I thought of this as an amazing opportunity to visit some of the worlds greatest places. Originally I was going to go to Barcelona and then Berlin, but funds cut me short, and so my friend and I stayed in Barcelona for longer. The best decision ever, as it is now one of my favourite places ever. Seriously if you get the chance to go, GO! and if you want any advice where to go etc feel free to drop me a comment and I will happily tell you as much as I can.

So for my project we had to collate as much research as we could based on art, museums, fashion, street culture, and since I was doing a lot of inspiration from graffiti I had to scour the streets for as much graffiti as I could find (which isn't difficult in Barcelona). Please see below my images of the best street styles I could get during my five day stay.

So theres just a selection of the best ones that I felt carried great street style looks. I took more than this, but these were the ones that really captured my eyes. It was great having everyone co-operate with me and feel happy enough to take part when I explained why I needed their photographs. I just wish that I had this blog up and running before hand so that I could gave them a card to check it out. Anyways, onto the next chapter!
